that carb is much bigger than stock and it is not for your car but it still should work . . get us the main jet sizes . . they are below the float.
remove thsat entire cam . . you can try to fix the spring later or buy a new one.

I'm not sure exactly how long that carb has been on there but my hunch is that it was one of the repairs my Mom's old delivery guy used to make for her. The guy had a lot of .... connections... If it was the repair I am thinking of then the carb has been on there since about 1990.
One thing is for sure, I don't need to upgrade to a bigger carb. I played with the float a little today but I won't have a chance to test drive for a couple of days. We got about 1/2 inch of snow last night so half the state shut down...
