recently purchased a 67 fastback sent off for deluxe Marti report supplied vin and door date info. what I received back was a complete surprise. how can I verify that my cars color and options that are on it actually came with it. I don't have a build sheet or Original window sticker. Any help would be great. I was told that my door tag was a repo and not original to my car

Report shows it to be gold exterior and gold interior. Am radio heavy duty suepension. S code 4 speed. The tag on it now says 63b paint X trim 6b Date 120 do 65 axle d trans 5. Which the car is dark maroon red deluxe interior power steering factory ac upper lower console tilt swing away steering trunk release by driver door. Martis says a 63a color 1 trim Standard dso 65 axle 0. Talked two the second owner yesterday he said he had the car since the early 80s that was the data tag on it then it was dark maroon with deluxe red interior had p s p b ac on it then he restored the car as per the data paint new paint new interior and said everything worked when he sold it to the guy I got it from.

possibly a rebody.

there are 3 vin's on top of the fender aprons, two are under the fenders . . these should match the title.

post a photo of the vin on the fender apron . . you can put tape over the last 3 digits if you want.
