Default Stroker math check, please

I have a 351w 9.48 deck block

6.250 rods,

pistons (flat top with valve relief, maybe 3cc relief) 1.19 compression height

4.0 stroke

74 cc cleveland heads (4v)

I am coming up with 9.9 with a .040 head gasket

Correct?

That combo. It leaves the piston .040 below deck and that with a .040 head gasket leaves .080 gap. I know my heads don't have quench pads, but is that an acceptable distance?

well, you're kinda screwed with the c heads so it is not ideal and taller postins with a dish would be slightly better but it will "run".

maybe flat tops with some nice 112 racing gas?
.
