Question Best cam for 302 in my 68

I have a basically new engine 302. I do not like the stock camshaft and want to put a different one in it.
I already have high rise intake, headers, automatic, Holley 650 double pumper, custom magnaflow exhaust. But want better performance than the stock cam gives.
I have not built a engine since 1975 when I had a 289 I built to the hilt. But can't remember which cam I put in it..
Which of the following would you guys suggest, without having to do head modifications (like I did back in 75)
I have been a tech working on cars since 1975, the the actual job to do it is no problem, just can't figure out which would be the best for what I want. More power with a more pronounced idle sound and at acceleration..

need your compression ratio and rear gear ratio but badsically, if you have

2.80 - 3.00 = comp cam xe256h

3.23 - 340 gears = comp cam xe262h

3.40 - 3.73 gears with 2000 rpm stall converter = comp xe268h.

10.5-1 compression
3.0-1 rear end

I need to order the parts from Amazon tonight before they start charging taxes.

I found some really nice Ford Racing covers ! Ordered two of them.

All I can remember on my 67 when I built it is.

Bored 60 over
11 1/2 to one high dome pistons
Trans Am racing rods, bought them off of a guy real cheap.
Balanced pistons and rods
3/4 race cam
Heavy duty screw in rocker arm studs
Racing rocker arms
Aluminum Ford black wrinkle valve covers
TRW racing water pump ( after I blew the stock one up three times)
Edelbrock high rise manifold
Dual 650 Holley double pumpers
Electric racing fuel pump in back end
Battery moved to rear of car
6" hood scoop
Dual gear drive for cam
Dual point racing distributor
Front brake line lock
Headman headers with dual exhaust
C4 transmission with reverse manual shift with 3000 stall convertor
3.50-1 rear end
90-10 front racing shocks
50-50 rear racing shocks
Converted to manual steering
VW tires on front w Center Line racing wheels
L50-15 tires on rear with Center Line racing wheels
Fenders cut up and flared out 3"
Dark Ford Blue Metallic with Red Pearl paint
White interior
8 track player and cassette player with 12 speakers

A few speeding and drag racing tickets ( expensive Denver lawyer kept all of these off my record !)

I am sure I have forgotten some of the things I had put on it over 40 years ago... Still miss it. A local Ford mechanic fell in love with it when I moved to Champaign,IL and bought it from me. I redid the paint and painted it a Barnum & Bailey Blue (kind of a baby blue) Don't know what ever happened to it.

But after I sold it I bought a 71 VW Super Beetle and redid it. It was also a kind of baby blue. Really did the engine up on it ! Blew away a few cars on the street. They would always finally catch up with me and say... WTH have you got in that thing ? I did get in trouble with the cops on that one actually....

Darn snapped a rocker arm stud off. I remember this happening now on my 67 that I use to own. So now I have a new set of Comp Cams 1431-16 rocker arms coming.. The slot in the origin ones just don't have a long enough slot in them..
