Default what the hey hey is this?

So below is a pic from below the passenger side hood hinge in my new 69 'vert.. there are two tubes going into the apron... and there is some little round box that can be seen under the fender well. the arrow points to it.

thanks everyone.. this 69 will be very different than my green 66 fastbak

Where do the other ends of those tubes go? Maybe something vacuum related

Do you have a tilt away steering column? Might be for the vacuum canister for that and the A/C. Some 67's have the canister there.

had/has ac connections... no tilt steering wheel. I will chase it , but sounds like the ac.

they go to a vac can inside the wheel well that operates the vacuum vents inside the car . . most are usually bad and very expensive...good luck.

thanks all- Will probably remove the vacuum set up and go with a vintage air unit. It wiill simplify the underdash and it aint that expensive.
