Default What is this?

See the photos below. This is some kind of line with a fitting on the end that is coming up from the very bottom/back section of the engine on the passenger side. What is it and what is it's purpose?

I recently had some work done and it doesn't seem like they reconnected it to wherever it is supposed to go. Thanks

I believe that is a hot air pipe for the carb choke...tells choke when engines cold/hot

Thanks for the replies guys, here's the carb and it's fittings. This model (the 1406) has an electric choke so is this pipe even needed?

Electric choke on the carb so do I need to just remove this tube completely?

You can remove it, it is not needed. However, if you are trying to retain some sort of originality, you can leave it. Mark
