The 1967 is back!
Well it took me longer than I thought.....but after a couple years of work....the 67 is back on the road.
It still has some tweaks here and there to finalize it....but the projects are down to little weekend jobbers now!
Here is what I started with:
Took it down to bare metal
Fixed a little beat quarter from an accident in its previous life
Upgraded several items
4 wheel disc brake (SSBC)
All new suspension front and back from opentrackerracing.com and streetortrack.com - big block spring with a coil trimmed and 4.5 leaf standard eye springs
347 stroker motor with Twisted Wedge heads, Bigs 650 carb, hydro roller setup, air gap intake, etc.
57 ford 9 inch housing and a 3.55 chunk
Added finned tail light panel
Long tube header
JBA stainless 2.5 inch exhaust
GT stainless interior
Late model Mach 1 seats
TMI Center console

the members rides section might be a better and more appropriate place to post this.

when you do the body, just make sure everything lines up first before you paint it . . as you can see in the photos, it looks nice but unfortunately has a few issues . . that being said, good paint jobs with good body work are very pricey so not everyone can afford them.

More pics from during paint part of build.
Car was physically sprayed in a booth for color/clear using a modern water born paint.
Everything else was done in my garage or in friends garage.
Right out of the booth pre-wet sand/buff
Wet sanding and buffing
And then the long process of bolting it all back together
