Default 1968 Notchback with 1994 GT motor

Will a Mustang GT motor (5.0l) fit in a 1968 notchback mustang? What changes will be neccesary?

Yes...that said, if you're going to use the EFI from the donor, I'd strongly recommend looking for an 89-93 donor vehicle. 94-95 Mustangs are...different. The block is the same, but things like accessories and intake are different.

But if you're just looking for a 5.0 long block and want to carburate it and throw on v-belt accessories, the '94 donor will work.

.
what exactly do you plan to do . . you can get engines from explorers also and some have gt40 heads . . you can add gt40 upper intakes to 95 thru 97 explorer lowers.

Well it may be better to go with the previous motors. I may also be able to find a 351w. My boss has a few mustangs. He may help me find one.
