RALLY PAC INSTALL

RALLY PAC INSTALL
Hi, My name is TOM and this my first post on the forum. I just joined and have a question I hope someone can answer for me. I am trying to install a 65 high profile tach in my 65 MUSTANG. My wife just bought it for me as a b-day gift.It is a CALIFORNIA MUSTANG unit from OVAL INDUSTRIES. I don't want to be unkind but I am having the worst time ever with it. Specifically, we cannot get the clock light to work and the clock only works when the lights are on. We were able to get the tach working fine but the darn clock has me ready to scream. I have followed the instructions to the letter but the seem to be, at best, VERY CONFUSING! I am fairly well versed on FORDs from the mid 60's so I have some experience with them. My father-in Law bought this car for us as a wedding present off the show room floor in 1965 so no-one has owned it but my wife and I. It is a Tropical turquoise coupe with a white vinyl top. The original 289 and top loader 4 spd are original as is the rest of the car. This is my first add on and it is VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated. Like I said it is the clock that is the problem
Thanks To all who reply! I appreciate your time and help and look forward to enjoying this fine site!
Kind Regards, TOM

Exactly. And don't be surprised after you get it all working that the lights for the tach and clock are horribly dim. I just recently put on the same brand
Rally Pac and a schematic was provided but not very clear. I used the Ford schematic.
