Default Which radiator is best for me?

Just got home from work, and my radiator pretty much blew. So I'm purchasing one right now online, what is best? 289 V8 hipo, daily driver, 400.00 price max. What is a staggered radiator and an inline? Please help!

Staggered vs inline has to do with your current hose configuration. You need to look at your current radiator inlet/outlet to see if they're both on the same side, or on opposite sides.

Do you have a/c? Where in CA do you live? Do you drive it in the middle of summer? Do you currently have cooling issues, and if so, can you tell us more about them?

a chinese made radiator that holds 25% less water than a us made one but their "quality" seems decent.

.
if you want an oriog srtyle rad there is only one brand that is good which is "US Radiator" . . CALL COOLCRAFT AND ORDER ONE.

A 3 row is a good typical rad that cools most engines but 110 degrees outsiude with the ac on i would run the 3 row high efficiency one.

aluminum rads are far cheaper.

Akrum...where are you? I've got an extra 3-row factory style I'd consider selling.

Okay is staggered on opposite sides? I don't have an AC and I will drive it in the middle of the summer. She doesn't get too hot but I feel it isn't as cool as it should be.....

How so? Do you have an accurate temp gauge? If it's running between 195 and 210, you're in pretty good shape.
