.
its 50 years old and parts get changed.

look very closely on the drivers side vent **** . . it will have an A on it that might be worn off . . if there is no image of an A, it may have been rebodied.

look inside the trunk at the spare tire hold down bracket . . if it has a small loop instead of a 3" long slot, it is a 66 car.

you need to look under the fener lips for the hidden vin's . . if they are different or not there you my have a problem.

An Edelbrock 500cfm carburettor has also been fitted with a manual choke to pull some more power from the engine.

There is no A on vent ****, 3 speed fan (not 2) passanger seat moves (i thought it shouldnt) Any thoughts on this would be VERY helpful

ok, then it has likely been rebodied due to rust or an accident or it was a stolen car that a clean vin was attached to because it is very unlikely that the left heater cable assembly was changed.

look under the rocker panels . . there will be a date on them unless they have been changed or the number has been bondoed over and post the number for us.

i also suggested you look in the trunk at the tire hold down which you have not done . . if you do not look at these different things, no one can help you.
.
