When I needed to replace the front glass in my 67....standard glass installer had it in stock....he didn't have the gasket but I ordered that from a mustang place and the guy came out and put it in the next day (after the gasket arrived).

Oof. This thread is right on time. I need to kiss the baby and spring for a new windshield in my fastback too. Almost 20 years ago I was riding being a deuceandahalf through Ft. Steward when it threw up a rock and hit my windshield right below the passenger windshield wiper arm. It sounded like a .38 when it hit.
Since it was out of the way and just a little hit I let it slide and now the crack has grown to about 10" and is too big to ignore.
The good news is that under Florida law, the last I knew, the insurance company has to pay 100% of the windshield replacement cost.
