Atomic EFI
Is anyone running the Atomic EFI? and , If so, what cam do you have?
I am in the process of installing a Painless wiring kit into my 66 and decided on all new gauges and the Atomic EFI since i was redoing it.
I am nearing completion and I notice in the Atomic directions that if you have a cam with a duration greater than 250* that it will not work!
CRAP! I am running a x303 cam. it has a 286* duration. so does this mean i just spent 2500 on a system that wont work? I do have a standard trans if that will make a diff.
If anyone has info, please share. thank you

It's funny how these projects tend to snowball, isn't it? If push comes to shove, it sounds like a cam swap but if that's not in the cards then I'll take it off your hands to try and take a little bit of the sting out of it...
I'll give you 'bout treefiddy.

With that investment AND your understandable desire to run EFI (I would too) you should contact the EFI manufacturer and see if this actually true and if there is any tuning that can be done (even at the factory) to make the system work. I would think that anything is possible with a smart system like most EFI.
