I lived in Trabuco Cyn for many years and was involved with Mustangs and American Classics on Via Fabicante.
If you need suggestions for the engine, feel free to post them.

I ordered Calvert mono leaf springs on Saturday. Depending on when those come in that may be my project for this weekend.

Very familiar with Trabuco, great area! Engine will be a Windsor, I picked up a bare 69 block a few months back but I have a number of items on the list to finish (suspension, brakes, steering) before I can start that build. I am looking for a good fab shop to do some things, roll cage, possible rear end shortening. What type of work would you recommend this shop for?

if you want it painted, the best shop is quigleys auto body . they did some of the cars for fast and furious . they may install a pre made roll bar but can't make a custom one but the owner knows who can . ask for bruce and tell him mustang mike sent you.

So you got rid of the 1st girl but seems another more car-friendly girl has arrived?? Looks like a solid project (the car, not the girl) Have fun with the build, post pics. mini spool on the street's gonna be fun :-) can't wait to see more updates.

Remember when you wish upon a star its millions of light years away...the light you are seeing is millions of years old. That star is dead.... just like your dreams.
Such is life in the car guy world.

Leaf springs came in this week. Having trouble getting the old front bushings out. The center bolt is seized up in the bushing. I was able to cut one side of the bolt off with a saw but the inner side near the frame does not have enough clearance to get the saw in. Going to soak the bolts for a few days with some kroil and try to press them out again Sunday
