Default 73 Mach 1 A/T to M/T clutch cable and pedal

Has anyone ever converted a 71-73 mustang from automatic to manual? I am trying to figure out the best way to run the clutch cable. I got the modern driveline set up which is just a cable running to the bellhousing to connect with the clutch fork. I have been looking at my shop manuals and it seems that I will want to run it like the 73 pinto which had the cable connect above the pivot point of the clutch pedal and then ran the clutch through the firewall and down to the clutch fork. Any pictures or pointers on running an aftermarket clutch cable will be nice. I'll try to post some pics of what I am looking at trying to do a little later when I get the chance. Just trying to learn from others on how this has been done before because I know I'm not the first.
