Default 69 Mustang - Squeaky while Driving

So my Mustang is squeaky when I drive it 8/10 times. It sounds like it's coming from between the seats beneath the car, or maybe a little more forward.

It seems to squeak more when I turn or after it's rained. Any idea what this could be, or is the only way to find out is to take it into a shop and have them run a diagnostic or something?? This has gotten to the point that it's very annoying to me and somewhat embarrassing. I went and picked up a date the other day and that squeaking just makes it sound like my car is about to fall a part. Thanks

On an old car like that it is probably bushings. If you are not mechanically inclined, just take it to a reputable repair shop and have them replace the bushings if indeed that it what it is.

Mine does it after a rain. You just need to get under it and lube everything that has a fitting, including the joints.

I just read that again. It was supposed to say u joints . They will make a squeak, squeak when driving, especially at slow speeds. If you hear it as a constant squeak as you turn, it's usually the ball joints.
