Default Rear suspension upgrade

Although not an independent rear suspension, this thing has me fascinated. Hey, it even looks like I could weld it together myself. Hmmmmm. http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/rearcoil.html

This upgrade is pretty pricey, but it appears the quality of workmanship is there. You would have to pour some pretty serious HP to the rear to justify the cost though.

Maybe so Hutch, but how will an air ride kit help stiffen up the rear? It seems to me that it would be counter-productive.

I did not see where he wanted to stiffen the rear, Different air bag rates and shocks would take care of that. Shocks would be the most cost of a stiffer ride, They are availble adjustable or not.

Who are you talking about? This whole thread is about stiffening up the rear. Without going to the radical extreme of putting on a 5 thousand dollar cage with side shocks and eliminating the leaf springs, a new set of leaf springs with at least 4 1/2 leaves and a good set of KYB gas adjust shocks with a set of traction bars will suffice for most of our rides.
