I am buying a 1969 Mach 1 from a private owner in Florida. I was on vacation and found the car last week. I have a copy of the title. My question is... How can I tell if this is a true Mach 1; not a sports roof model?? The car is a gem. I have driven it. The exterior is spotless as is the interior. It has the original wheels that came on the car. How does $15,000.00 sound?? The plate is missing from the door jam but the seller (who specializes in Mustangs) is having a duplicate plate made. The car runs great. Let me know what you think. $15k sounds like a lot too me, but i am pretty cheap,personally i would pay onlyabout $10k, but i havent seen it so i cant really say.
