Default What to Do?

I have the Valve covers off my 289 and im wondering if theres anything i should check for/do while im under here? I'm cleaning it all up right now, so they wont be off much longer. Thanks!

Default What to Do?

Well, if it was running fine before, I would say nothing. Just clean the gasket surface and put them back on. If you want to get into some work, replacing the valve seals would be good to do while you're in there.

Ya, im not looking for more work at this point. I had an oil leak just big enough to annoy me, so im changing the gaskets. Thanks for the suggestion.

check your vavle springs,too see if broken?i had i dual spr. that broke i never knew till i changed the gasket like you..the inner was the only one good..<img border="0" src=smileys/smiley3.gif border="0">
