67 351 Windsor Burning Oil

Hey I just picked up a 67 coupe with a 351 Windsor in it. The engine is all new, with a remanufactured block, Edelbrock aluminum heads, with a 750cfm card, and edelbrock intake. The engine just rolled over 1500 miles, and now the car is burning oil like no other. The car runs and idles fine, but gives out amazing amounts of smoke. There are no leaks anywhere, and i cannot find any explanation for it. None of the plugs are fouled excessively, but they are all fairly oily. Any ideas would be great as to why this is happening. plugs should not have any oil on them, especially with the engine just being rebuilt. Did they install new piston rings? Oil can burn from several scenarios:

Oil is escaping into the combustion chamber due to worn piston rings.

The valve seals and / or guides are old/worn and are letting oil pass thru to the combustion chamber. Either of these conditions would produce a blue smoke from the tailpipe.

Intake and /or intake gasket was not properly installed, and is sucking oil out thru the intake.

You said the engine was rebuilt. Sometimes rebuilders dont replace everything with new parts. My heads were rebuilt 2000 miles ago, and she started blowing smoke, They didnt install new valve guides, and knurling them is a cheap way out, so they started leaking again. I would ask the rebuilder exactly what they did and did not replace.

You may want to do a wet/dry compression test to see if your rings are letting oil thru. A better test to pinpoint your problem would be a leak=down test.

See heres the thing that bugs me:

All parts are brand new, everything.
The block is a reman 69 351 bored .030 over, and decked .005 and .002 for equal deck height. All parts were checked for proper fit, installation and clearences. The head are new Edelbrock perform RPM heads, again with new everything, from valvespring seats, to 1.6 roller rocker arms, to the pushrod guides. Again all of the valves were tested for seal and alignment before being put into the engine. Now if there was a leak in some place, then one or two cylinders would be fouled. However all eight are exactly the same. I have true dual exhaust and the smoke is coming out both sides. Any leak would be limited in size and cause a runability issue. It is also highly unlikely that brand new valve stem seals would go bad simultaneously, with just 1543.7 miles on them. I know all of these parts are new, as I watched him install them. I bought it off of my friend, and the only idea he could come up with was that it was sucking oil in through the PCV. However when plugged, the engine is still burning oil. Would the oil being 1200 miles old now have something to do with this? We changed the oil with 200miles on the engine, and we were going to wait another 100 before going to a blended oil. So has anyone seen/heard of this situation before? Any ideas would be great. I am really at a loss here.

it sounds like the rings didnt seat. on initial startup did u idle engine at 2500 rpm for 10-15 minutes so the rings will seatproperly.

I know you disconnected the PCV valve but how long did you run it with it plugged? If you are running unbaffled aftermarket valve covers the PCV can and will pull a lot of oil up into the intake manifold and intake runners in the heads. It could take upwards of 1/2 hour or so to burn off the oil. You might want to try plugging it again and running it for a while.
