Could you guys do me a big favor and post your 289 pics? It'd be sweet if they were w/o the air cleaner too so that things are a bit easier to see. All angles are good. I tried google images but there just isn't a whole lot on there. I need them because I really don't know where all these hoses (vaccum, air, etc) go and my shop manual wasn't a whole lot of help. Thanks

How many vacuum hoses are there? should be one to the pcv, one to the distributor vac advance, and one to the trans if you have an auto. Am I missing something?

I have no clue. There is a lot that isn't there too, so I need to know what to buy and where it will go etc.

Power brakes if they've been added
With that - there's only 4 IIRC. get the ones that you're sure of connected then get back to us with the ones you're not sure of. Note their origin and size. Gotta be simple enough.

That's all my recent research came up with too. However I had 2 unused ports on the carb that I finally capped off. (To my dismay, the capping didn't provide any noticable difference!)
-EDIT-
I'll try to post a picture tomorrow that points out which ports go to the PCV, Distributor and Transmission. But it might not be helpful if you don't have a 2100 carb...
Well here ya go.It isnot pretty but maybe it will help you out. When we bought the car it did not run. I got it running but thats about it. Hope this helps.
I hope to start on the engine compartment in the early spring.
