Yeah you seem to be a little reluctant to take the plunge into starting. It ain't going to get done if you don't start!
I may have to research to mig you posted. The one I am currently looking at is from Lincoln and costs about six hundred dollars. Right now I am using Oxy, but when I get to the body panels I have to go mig. I'm getting tired of banging panels back straight.[:@]

not reluctant just unable. I'm getting out of the military in two months, and then have to wait around for the FAA to give me a call, could take as long as 6 months. So we'll be a little strapped for cash, plus staying with relatives is not the place to start tearing apart the pony. But as soon as we have our own place I'm getting a compressor and welder. Start the teardown process, and then start welding anything and everything I can. Prep the car for paint and body (farming that crap out cause I just don't want to do it). Get the short block so I can start building that, sell all the crap I won't be using, and start the rebuild process. Just need to wait a bit.
