yeah it was the powersteering line it needed to be put back up.

Yeah my 68 was totaled.
I did not have classic car insurance, I have 21st century, all I have on it is liability and comprehensive. It took like 2 months to get it all straightened out.. but heres what happened...
First I got this guy who was an idiot and didnt want to go through any trouble to do anything for me so I got switched and I got a lady and what happened is she had an appraiser come out and take pictures of the car, which at that time I gave him all the recipts for work done on the car and all the parts I've bought for it which came out to about 10 grand. I also gave them pictures of the car from before the accident. So he took all the recipts and pictures and looked them over and looked at classified ads and stuff of people who were selling six cylinder 68's and the average value of a decent one like mine was $7000, but he also took into acount the things that made my car better like the deluxe interior and the overhead console, so it came out to like $7300 So what I got was $6300. the only thing was, in order to get the money I had to give them the car, so fixing up my '68 really wasn't an option because without the money from them I couldn't fix it because there was some seriousframe damage,so I just decided to buy another. I think my payout was fair taken my car was a salvage car to begin with I just with I could have kept the 68 and fixed it with the money from them but they wouldnt let me. When I called to add the 66 to my insurance, I asked them about collision and if it would work the same way as it just did with the classic car apraiser comming out and stuff and she said it just depends on the claims adjuster you get.
I know though that keeping all the recipts and stuff helped me get a decent amount of money. So just make sure you do that and log everything you've done to it.
Anymore questions feel free to ask.

I kinda wanted to go with a classic insurance program, but most I found limited what you could do with the car (only x amount of miles, certain times of year, on and on). I think my insurance company is pretty awesome for an insurance company. But I think I will call and run a few "what if's" by them and see how they would handle my car, cuz I have definatly added more money in it than what it is worth.

Although, they did tell me they would finance my car up to $14,000, so maybe it would work out.
