Default MR Amp onewire mod?

Just did the mr amp one wire mod to my 69 vert 302. 130 amp alternator. Now my amp meter shows discharge when I hit the brakes or turn on lights. Does the same at idle or at higher rpms, ie driving. Wasn't as bad with the old alt in.

Front Lights dont surge as rpms increase. Also pulled the battery cables off (very briefly) while at idle and the car kept running. Any ideas or thoughts?

You need to have the system checked to see if it's really discharging (volts & amps) or not. And if so, a call to mr amp is probably in order.

It sounds like a voltage regulation issue within the alternator. Take the car to someone who can test it's volt and amperage output at the speeds under which it is indicating discharging. If it is, a call to mr amp should be in order.
