Wow, absolutely beautiful. That thing is coming right along. The more stuff you bolt on, the better that color looks. Glad you stuck with it. If I add that newest list up correctly, you're about 1500 shy (minus seat belts) of getting it done. Count me in for another small donation. I'll send you a PM in a day or 2.

Not to be picky (I know you have loose ends to tie up) but were you considering covering that wiring harness? Or leaving i just taped?

Your right on with the amount needed for the parts. The seat belts will be decided at the end, It isnt going to be a daily driver, mosltly for important dates and such, car shows parades, so the three point belts aren't as necessary as making sure there are 4 belts to secure the passengers. My sister-in-aw has had some unexpected repairs to her house, so the money flow has slowed down, no biggy though we'll make it, I have faith. She is supposed to send it to me in about 3-4 install ments spread out over the next couple of months. There are a few things on the list that once we get going Ill decide if I want to try to reuse an OK part that exists or brand new part for not so much.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do there. I havent decided yet, I got it all retaped that way, if I run out of funds I'm good, and if there is enough nick nack money, Ill get some of the plastic loom and clean it up some at the end.

Well after finding out we were missing so many of the OEM A/C compressor/system parts, we decided to do a Ford OEM serpentine system. I believe it is off of the mid 80's Mustang. I have to replace the water pump to the driver side outlet (which we already have), swap out the timing chain cover (already have the correct one), harmonic ballencer (the 289 has 3 bolts the serpentine uses 4 bolt pulley) and have some work done to the radiator to swap the bottom outlet to the drivers side from the passenger side. The students should have this done by the end of the upcoming week.

The one problem that we do have is with the interior dash wiring harness which was the sweep style speedometer, to use the GT? style. Not sure if it is considered a GT or Pony or what have you dash, but basically instead of the idiot light/sweep dash it has all the gauges. The problem I have is to use the Ammeter, the rest of the gauges Ive already got hooked up but am going to post in the correct area to find out how to use the setup. The wiring diagram I have really doesnt explain much. The 65 diagram doesnt have provisions for this dash but the 66 does. I know I need wires going from the starter solenoid and from the voltage regulator, but it isnt clear if there is some sort of shunt setup or anything else. I will have to run designated lines for those two wires because the 65 dash/passsenger engine harness have two less wires than the 66 harness setup. I have the 66 dash harness but not the engine harness.
