I don't really like them. They should have kept the 67 Shelby front end.

I agree, between that and the fact that it's not a true Shelby by '68. Hard to argue with a CJ though...

I actually like the 68 hood better than the 67. With the economy what it is, I think he won't be selling it for that price. I bet he gets a ton of scam emails from people wanting him to deposit a certified check for more than the amount of the car.

By 1968, "Shelby" Mustang production was switched entirely over to Ford. None of the vehicles actually went through the Shelby American plant. This is part of why the '68 GT350's used plane jane J code motors (albiet with a mid-year change and recall to an aluminum intake). Shelby still got design input and name rights, but left production to Ford (and Kar Kraft, iirc)

He should be selling that at classic car auction if he really wants to get rid of it. Not sure how many people are looking for a 200k car on craigslist.
