This may sound weird but also, check to make sure the shifter bracket isn't loose. I had a guy call me a half a dozen times complaining that the shifter was at fault and he forgot to tighten the lever. Duh..... Try it.

yea, fluid was low haha, the fluid was culminating in the dip stick tube and we thought it was over full, we checked it the next day and it was low, so 2 quarts later it was fine, and the car is back on the road, ive driven it twice and already gotten 2 comments from people. i havent really kicked it in the guts cause its still breakin in, but the 351 has no problem lighting the tires up in 1 and 2 gear, the only thing i dont really like is how low the front of my car sits now, the 351 is about 150 pounds heavier, is there any cheap and easy way to bring the front of the car up?

ok, update, we adjusted the accelerator pump and re-set the timing, and now its rip snortin. it does ok on the highway, it revs up a little bit due to the 3 speed automatic, its hard to calculate my fuel mileage, but to drive about 40 miles it costs about $9 at $3.17 a gallon, but im pretty happy with the swap, and its comforting to have a 5 year 50,000 mile warranty, thanks for the advice guys, this swap would have been a major headache and probably still wouldnt be done without your help
