^ yup

now since you went and grabbed roller rockers, your going to NEED those guideplates, and in turn you will NEED hardened pushrods. both of these items are relatively inexpensive. honestly, you should have had hardened pushrods anyways since you were using stiffer springs and a high lift cam. the fact that they used 40 year old stock pushrods may indeed be why they bent.
