It's a nice looking fastback, now just concentrate on getting that car on the road! Once you start driving it around, you'll understand that you can't put a price on how much you'll enjoy the car! People will be starring, giving you thumbs up, waving and asking for pictures. You'll then understand every penny spent was well worth it in the end!

Well, I guess I am going to bring this old post back up,,,,

But look at the bright side,,, even with $14,500 paid for the car, and maybe another 10K or so to go, you STILL wont take as big a hit on depreciation as the folks who "took advantage" of the CASH FOR CLUNKERS program... And to boot, you will have a cool car in the end....

Man The car still looks awsome with a little TLC. I love that year though, I was at a car show on the weekend and took a look at a couple 69FB and 69 Mach1s and I think Iam sold on getting one of those sooner or later but for now I gotta get plugging away on my project..

Now that this thread has be resurrected I guess I can make a post

I think the car looks cool. 1969 is by far one of the coolest years for cars especially the mustang. You just can not beat it.
People these days make me sad. That someone would deliberately lie to you like that makes me wonder what kind of morals they have.

On a side note while I was in Birmingham on a road trip a police officer talked to me with chew in his mouth then called me a "yank" lol.
