Its probably been the same dirt and junk that causes it every once and while. Ill probably try this out over the weekend. How difficult is a fuel filter replacement? Im pretty new to it all.
it should be before the pup to protect that as well, but in most cars I see the filter inline right before the carb. just a cylindrical piece.
If you are unsure and can't provide pics of what filter you have, then just buy an inline fuel filter (<5$?) and plug that between pump and carb to get you out of trouble
could easily be that the tank is rusty and if you don't have a filter it will only take 1 minute or a week max to block the carb

If you think your tank is full of crud, replace it. $100 or so and about 1 hour after you drain (or drive away) the old gas. I'll post my pics of the sending unit that came out of mine if I get a chance. They are in another thread somewhere. Gross!!!

So after putting the new fuel filter in, its still running the same. Obviously whatevers clogging one of my jets is still in there. Is there anyway to clean this out without taking the carb off just yet? Since theres a new fuel filter in then whatever is coming in should be clean, but whatever is still stuck there from before the new filter is still clogging it up.
