I have the RM mounts and they work great. Between them and the slotted tranny mount, I was able to position the driveline such that no trimming was necessary with for the Steeda Tri-Axe T5 shifter. I did have to grind a bit of the shifter to get the stock bezel to fit around it.

The cost of the RM mounts isn't for everyone, but in my case, I needed both the rubber insulators and the metal brackets so the the cost difference wasn't so much. Either way, they are nice mounts and do work as advertised so at least you'll get some benefit for the extra dough.

Watch for headers, pan to cross member if after market, shifter, and carb linkage not going fully WOT. .500 of an in is enough to keep it form opening.
