BG carbs are wet flowed, so a 750 speed demon will actually flow about 825 cfm, an 850 demon will flow almost 1000 cfm. most all othe carbs are dry flowed. Proform are decent but made in china and not real consistant. I have run carter, edelbrock, holley, demons and I can say the demon carbs are the best carbs made for an out of the box carb, I have a 700.00 custom carb sitting on my shelf in my garage that doesent run as good as my out of the box demon.

ya i have always wanted a bg but if i was going to get one....my usual motto is "go big or go home". needless to say those $1k carbs are a bit much lol
tho those road demons are not bad at all for the price cheapest i found was about $304 for a jr.

i had considered a 625 road demon very seriously, but i want adjustable air bleeds on my next carb and holley doesn't even make one until you get into the 750 main body.
If you go with the HP series, you can have adjustable air bleeds starting at 390.
