Thumbs up Lot's of stuff you can use from the Fox

EFI is a really fun swap, and reasonable if you get a whole doner car. What ever you do, keep the Fox until your '65 is done. There is all kinds of stuff you can use.
Here are some examples:

Engine:

Transmission:

Driveshaft (will need to be lengthened):

Rear end:

Fuel pump:

Plus: throttle pedal and linkage, cruise control, relays & wiring, exhaust pipes, P-brake assembly, front seats, electric window components, etc. It's amazing how much usable stuff there is. Just takes some fabrication skills, and creativity.
I stripped the '90GT to a bare shell, sold a bunch of the body parts, cut up the uni-body and donated it to a new scrap steel place in town. Two loads like this is all that was "scrapped":

Starting from here:

stripped:

Before anybody gets excited about destroying a nice Fox. The whole floor pan was cracked, torn and ripped up from heavy abuse at the dragstrip. This car was run very hard! And while the old body is gone, it's soul is alive and well.

Good luck with your project, and please post pictures as you go!

the drivers floor board was ripped? or somewhere else. the drivers floor is a very common problem on the foxes, esp with a bigger guy driving one

I have a few things on my website about efi swap. There's quite a few people here that have done it. If you decide to do the full monty, you'll have lots of help.
