I love the you tube vids of guys warming bottles up with torches. Realizing the gas isnt flammable but any contents under pressure is explosive, lol **** always cracks me up.

Depending on the vehicle type i think turbos/blowers have its place. nothing beats the sound of a big block coming down the road and the blower whining.

something like 550 hp from a 289 sbf
That must be one helluva modified 4100 to make that kind of power.

N2o works great for cooling just have to be carful because it does add a ton of cyl pressure. Our buddy made and extra 125rwhp with a 75 shot because of the cooling. Some guys run as little as a 20 shot for cooling only.

Yeah, a blower and nitrous will make some mad cylinder pressure. I wouldn't want to try it on something that wasn't o-ringed.

Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.

There was a huge study on this and I cant find the link.....but it basically stated that CO2 is not recommended in or around the engine bay esp on engines with FI.....why? well it basically is what one of the other members stated that the over spray can and will get sucked into the motor and can cause loss of engine power or detonation which IMO is not a worth while mod for anyone. The opposite held true for the NOS....when sprayed to "cool" the intercooler any overspray could be sucked into the intake and cause you to increase HP a bit as a result increasing HP as much as 40 base hp.....so if you want cooling in any way (use NOS) and if you have A/C check this out....not sure for the classics but it is a good read...

but it appears as if it is for late model cars and not classics!

my buddy runs in the SSLA class whatever that means Im not on the up and up with racing terms/classes. Yea it is a 4100 I think it was rated at like 400 something CFM lol. car runs consistent 10s, just got it rebuilt about a year and a half ago. the motor in the video blew last year so now he equipped it with a more suitable combo. Have no idea on specs.
www.moneymakerracing.com is his info.
