Yeah the carb is run as a duel inlet. I didn't realize it myself until a chat with an Edelbrock tech one day.
JMD.. I had planned on running clamps every 12 inches on the braided line on the rails. The clamps your using there look great. The ones I have are basically looped metal with a rubber grommet & fasten by a single screw. Planning to drop each with locklite just as an added measure for the run. Our car isn't a trailer queen though I'm told I'm building it like one. It'll be stored outdoors for the next year anyway and driven daily both town and highway. Agree on your tidbits as well.
