Default shoe retracting assist spring

Hello:

I have a 1968 Ford Mustang GT/California Special 289 Auto with drum brakes
(10" front).

I have visited close to 50 aftermarket Mustang, brake and supply parts
stores, countless hours on the computer and have purchased numerous
"replacement/repair" kits for the drums/brakes. All the kits and parts I
have received include the shoe-to-anchor springs and other related parts but
not the odd shaped shoe retracting assist spring that holds the primary and
secondary shoe-to-anchor spring in place.

I have researched spring manufacturers and believe that RAYBESTOS at one
time had a similar spring but have been instructed by them that they no
longer manufacture it.

Would you have a source or supply of this item that I could purchase

regards
Mike
