ill admit my 40 series do drone quite a bit at low rpms, but at idle, WOT or high speed cruising, they sound very nice, imo of course. probably too loud for the average person. but i like loud

Well I'll let you guys know tommorow - got the super 40s and switching out the summits turbos (way too quiet). I've got magnaflows on my other 70 and I think they are a little too quiet also. I'm looking for something with some bark but not obnoxious. I did have Cherry Bombs b4 the the magnaflows but changed to get a better perfomance system. Even though the magnaflow is suppose to be a better - the cherry bombs sounded better IMO. Hopefully with the super 40s - will get best of both worlds. I'll tell them to clamp in just in case.

In my last post right about yours, I said that I have had both regular 40 and super 40 on my F150 and the super is a little queiter and deeper. It also has delta flow which reduces interior resonance.

I personally like the sound of the 40s on the Mustangs. A delta 40 will sound similar outside, but not as loud inside.

I agree with phish, the drone from 40's is not bad at all. I can still talk and hear the radio so its not that loud.

Well just got the the super 40s on. They are a lot quieter than I expected. I was concerned they would be too loud - probably the just the opposite. The tone is good but maybe a little too quiet for my taste. Cabib noise not bad at all. Once they break in they should louden up a little. Could be the pipes I'm running too "2.25" OEM manifold. I've got magnaflow on my other car and I would say they are about the same or maybe a little quieter.

I was thinking about getting this kit does anyone have them or know whether they sound good. They have the super 44's on them.
