I have a 65 convertible with a 347 stroker, longtubes, an xpipe and super40s. I can honestly say it is not that loud, even with the top down you can have a conversation when your cruising. Now if you dont have overdrive the drone may be a little annoying but i have no complaints. The sound of a sbf at 6500 rpm screaming through this system is priceless.
