Default Custom Fender Emblem?

I was creating my Avatar and had an idea. Anyone with any experience creating custom fender emblems? I'm converting a '65 Mustang to an electric vehicle and would like to modify the traditional emblem to something like this:

My thought was to buy three '302' emblems, then have someone cut off the '3' and the '2' of one of them, and attach the '0's from the other two.

Does anyone have any other ideas, or know where to go to have this done?

Might email this company Billet Badges. They seem like a decent company.

I've thought about getting some custom emblems done for my 67, but never have.

Right, I understand it's three for each side. I've actually already bought six of them, but I'm having trouble finding anyone to take the job on. The metal workers want to just make a new cast (for about $500) and the jewelers don't want to bother with it at all. So I either need good ideas for who would do this sort of thing, or other emblem ideas.

Thanks for the tip on BilletBadges -- I sent them an email. I expect they'll be around the same price as the metal workers, but we'll see what they say.

problem is the material used is nothing but junk... with that said welding it can be done. You need to use a high nickel rod like stainless steel. I would do it for you as Ive welded castings before, but if I messed one up I dont want to pay for 6 badges again lol.

I would think you could have someone with a cnc machine make a couple for less than $500.

Good luck! it will be hard to find companys to make a couple one off pieces. Shop rates range from 40-100 bucks an hour. My shop rate is 75 bucks an hour. Your looking at special tooling, not just a couple simple 3/8 or 1/2" endmills and simple vise fixtures. then the setup time is at least 3-4 hours plus creating the program.... your talking high dollars for two pieces of metal.

you need to find someone with a machine in their basement... this is the closest Ive been to making badges:

And that was done with a water jet.

However maybe the economy is on your side and people might be able to lower the shop rate. and you might be able to find someone.

you might be able to get it done at your local college. The machinist class was next to my welding class and they were doing some crazy stuff for people for class projects.
