Default single exhaust tailpipe hanger

is the tailpipe supported by a hanger on a 67 convertible with a 289 and single exhaust. I bought a kit from mustangs unlimited that said it came with a tailpipe hanger but the part numbers are for a muffler hanger. does this also support the tailpipe?

i installed the system and the tailpipe keeps falling to the ground under its own weight. does the clamp need to be tightened?

if anyone knows the part number for the hanger or snap some pictures of how their exhaust system is supported, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The RH hanger attaches to the pipe, so the system must be solidly clamped together first. The factory welded the tailpipe to the muffler, to ease installation and provide stability. I usually weld them, too. I take it MU wasn't helpful? My shop of choice would have faxed you the diagram from the manual. They would also advise you to get the manual.
