Default 302 water pump pully direction

I put a 302 in my 65 coupe and I'm trying to figure out the pullys. I'm a Jeep guy so Ford makes little sense to me. Friends tell me I need to know which way the water pump is supposed to turn before I decide on the pully setup (serpentine or vbelt). I've already installed it and don't want to pull it off to look at the veins. It's an aluminum pump and cast. Is there a way to tell without pulling it off? I need pullys, anyone got any to sell or advise on locating some.
