4r rush...don't knoww wwhat to really teell you that you don't know. Is your heater hooked up or is it bypassed?


kfactor....you have an airflow issue. Maybe minor damage is all it took to redirect the air. I think now, though...it is your new fan getting in the way.

BTW..I have a .040 over 351 that I have also heard the rumors of running hot going that big, but I have no issues with heat. Even at 115 outside temp.

This weekend I drove the car to a car show. Once again over a period of driving(about 1/2 and hour) the temp slooooooowly creeps up to 220 degrees where I pulled it into the driveway and turned it off. If I had kept driving it would have gotten hotter.

The heater is not bypassed and the only thing that I can think is that maybe the engine builder did not drill out the 1/8 inch steam holes for the edlebrock heads. I have a couple to old time hotrodder telling me my problem is the high flow edlebrock water pump but I really dont agree. Less time in the engine less heat. I will however in order to take the last variable away probably replace the pump. I havent even turned on the air yet. That would really heat things up.

Bummer is the car handles, drives and sounds great but I cant drive it
