Nice work, I like all the pictures. I have to do the same things when I tear down my present driver (I've got another in the garage already). You've given me more confidence.

It's going quiet well, but i've been occupied the last 2 weeks. Maybe this weekend i'll paint it in the epoxy primer, after that, i'll seal all the corners and cracks (where the sheetmetal comes together) with body sealant.

Ofcourse, pictures will follow.

Holy crap! That's a LOT of work but I gotta tell you, I am utterly AMAZED at the speed that you get it done! Especially when you take into consideration that you are stopping to take progress pics as you go. The amount of work you get done in a day or two would take a lot of people YEARS to do. AWESOME! Makes me REALLY want to get going on my project now! Can't wait to see more!

That is a lot of work more then i would do.Those plates you make to fill up the cups up front are boss braces the boss 302 had them it stiffens up the front end a lot.Have you thought of bracing the inside of the shock towers too like the big block cars had?

No i haven't thought of that, mainly because i don't know what your meaning? Do you have any pics of it? btw, I did all that welding in 4 weeks, 2 weeks in '08 and 2 weeks in '09. Being in eurepe, parts are expensive and i'm trying to keep it kinda lowbudget. You know, save up some cash and order piles of stuff. I hope that it will be finished in 2, maybe 3 years.

Here's a short list.
-5.0 HO engine from Lincoln mark VII, including fule injection.
-AOD conversion (also Lincoln)
-4 link Rear axle from Mark VII, cause these allready have discs
-Rack and pinion (prev. unisteer)
-shelby drop
-relocated battery to trunk
-high torque starter, the original starter solenoid can be replaced with a small relais. which can be hidden behind the dash.
-rewire the whole car.
-Fit 13" powerbrakes up front
-17" wheels
etc. etc etc.

Color? i was thinking about an BMW R1200GS '08 color, it's a dark gray metallic. hard to discribe. And maybe finish it up with matt black hood of boss striping. Don't know for sure yet.

It's hard to see on pictures, but with some imatination:

Sorry, couldn't find a smaller picture.

And another thing. I've seen some kind of reinforcement at the back of the framerails towards the torqueboxes. I did a search, but couldn't find them. Anyone?
