So if I got that setup from ebay, I probably wouldn't need anything else?
There should be a steel backplate to keep the switch screws from pulling through the glove box, most sellers don't think to save that, but you could easily mke one. If the harness has not been cut, it's too easy.

For those that don't know, I am planning on getting a sequential tail light setup and I guess it will require and additional electronic flasher unit to work right.
If you have trouble with flashers not being strong enough, Glazier Nolan has the red Cougar/Shelby flasher that drives the 6-taillight setup.

Its supposed to mount inside the glove box right?
The 66 box was punched for the screw holes and wire.

I bought that NOS setup from Ebay.

I don't know where all the wires are supposed to go and I doubt the kit comes with instructions, but maybe it does.

As it is the flashers need their own flasher anyway. You'll need two, the electronic ones are available at Napa for short money.

If you get the whole shebang and have any trouble installing it someone here will guide you through it.
Thanks thats good to know. I'll post back after I get that kit.

Off Topic, but I wanted to ask before, what type of wheels are on your car. I like how it looks.

Thanks for the picture. I don't know if that NOS kit I got has the plate you mentioned or not. I have seen that before and wondered what it was.

You're better off, why jury-rig when NOS is available.

The wheels on my car are four Pantera front wheels.

The ones on the blue Pantera are polished magnesium. Too cool.

Thats freakin awesome! Where did you find center caps with the pony on them that fit the Pantera wheels.

I noticed that the NOS flasher kit I got on ebay says that it mounts under the dash. I wonder if that is a typo or it really does mount someplace different than the glove box.

I did some online searching and found that apparently the 65 dealer installed version does mount under the dash and not in the glove box. Does anyone know anything about this? I didn't find a picture of where it is supposed to mount. I'm guessing that the wiring with the kit I just got will be too short to put the switch in the glove box.

Great! If you have the 65 piece, it's a much more rare and correct for your year.

I have seen a few, but have no picture. They were a pull-switch mounted on the bottom edge of the left side of the dash, where this car has a choke.

Thats interesting. I have never seen that before. The kit that I got looks like it is more like the glove box mounted switch. It is said to be for 64-65 Mustang. I guess I'll see what it is when it arrives. It was recommended that I go with it from the guys at Mustangs Unlimited.
