Now you need to get some decent high quality photos taken

Looks like she is going to be tons of fun.

the motor looks sweet man, but i'd be a little worried about those heads of you had one that was actually porous enough to leak coolant thru the aluminum.

btw let me know how that projection system works out for you. i had one for my II and i never installed it. i forget who, but someone makes better software for that thing that you can use with a laptop and it will record everything as you drive and then re-calculate what the programming should be. from what i was told if you do that a couple times the system will be dialed in virtually perfect.

oh, and you should be able to tie the distributor into it and eliminate the vacuum advance which provides better timing control.
Sound works ok from my end, anyone else having a problem?

As far as the head goes the one that was a bad one was only "assumed" to have porosity. The actual end result was the factory installed sleeves into the spark-plug holes and they leaked. The only reason I can think of as to why they would install sleeves, is if the head has a casting shift or some sort of porosity. Who knows. Neither Troy or myself have any clue how or why they would have done that otherwise, nor do we know for sure if it wasn't some other totally different scenario. The other head is fine, no worries.

The Pro-Jection is working ok, has a tip-in hesitation right off idle at low throttle, apparently a common issue for the setup. I have the O2 conversion kit that is supposed to fix it, just haven't installed it yet.

The Pro-Jection kit I have is the OLD analog system, does not change timing and is not lap-top compatible. All it has is a brain box and the adjusting screws, fuel control only, no timing curves or anything like that.

They have been enlarged with the CNC quite a bit to allow less valve shrouding and more streetable compression on a 418, they are 76cc or larger. They are calculated right between 10.6 and 10.7:1 with the flat-tops and large valve reliefs.

Thanks! Also thanks for the offer on the pics. Unfortunately it's a bit camera shy right now. It has been a recent victim of a huge rock crashing into the hood and l/f fender. What a shame.

It's getting fixed through my insurance soon and the suspect is still at large. Rumor has it that it was an accident, but a careless one. Apparently the 10 lb rock was thrown at someone elses car during a domestic dispute and it bounced off of that car into the hood of my car. No one has fessed up to it, nor do I plan on ever knowing who did it. All I have is a statement from one of the tenants that heard it all happen from their living room. Happened at my gf's apartment on Monday night. $2500 in damage.

NO worries, I have good insurance and a zero $ deductable. Just frustrating.

Holy Crap! I would be so mad!

But it is best not to try to figure out who did it because they would target you afterwords as the "Cause" to their sudden problems with the law and or insurance/court. Criminals never blaim themselves.

When you get her fixed get some new pics up.

Will do!

I was not happy to come home to my baby with a dent in the hood and fender.

I'm thinking about usung the insurance money to maybe buy a Shelby front clip, or I might just go cheap and buy a cowl hood and touch up the fender then buy some slicks and some much needed safety items for the track. We'll see. At least I have good insurance and have the option to choose.
