Does your insurance cover uninsured motorists? I'm guessing you've already checked on that and the answer is no.. Did you have the insurance company show you proof one when the policy expired/lapsed? I don't trust insurance companies. Who knows if they are telling the truth. I was in a similar situation once but ended up finally getting the money out of the insurance company. It really sucks to say that suing her would probably just make your poorer. Then she'll probably just file for bankruptcy.

Hope you fully recover. It's amazing how these tweaker pukes can draw social security because they are losers. Here I work everyday all my life and probably won't see any of my benefits because these leeches will suck it dry. If the justice system can't do anything for you, I hope you take care of business. And I don't mean in a nice way either. Takes care bro.

Try suing her insurance, they should man up if she ever re insures with them again. Hopefully the judge takes your side. If not, cement shoes that bitch.

Damn... and here I am crying because of what happened to my 68. Like everyone else here, I am glad you are alive and you should be too. We all here love our cars, they are our babies, but then again in the end its just a bunch of metal and rubber that we fall in love with, and very replaceable. So chin up brother and know that she will pay for what she did, we all pay for what we do. Life will take care of that, rest asured of that!

I'm glad you're alive first off. Sorry about your car. It makes me want to cry. I keep worrying about my car being stolen when I get it out of the shop but this would be worse.

Where do you live in Alabama? Maybe I can talk to some friends around here and see what your options are.

You might want to write your congressman or representative. They might be lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut but a lot of them do not want bad publicity especially if they want to get re-elected. A lot of times they'll do something for the "positive PR". It wouldn't hurt to write a letter just to see if they would get involved.

Hopefully you can at least get the medical bills paid for.

Good Luck, keep us posted and I wish you a speedy recovery.
