You can get a strut type suspension for 71-73, if that's what you mean by IFS.
The Mach1 suspension is already pretty good though, mine takes the corners quite flat.
Rack/pinion steering is another story though. Nobody makes a kit yet so you'll have to
make a custom.
I used the wrong terms. I'm referring to the suspension kits like seen here and in the mustang kts sold in the ford magazines.
My last 71 was a nightmare when it came to suspension performance even with urethane bushings. Now that I'm planing to buy another one, I'm trying to figure out the build first and what my options are.
RRS makes a kit that uses sn95 struts and cobra brakes etc

I used to talk to the guy/gal at Dark Horse Racing all the time about the mods they had done and they said it was way to advanced of a mod for me to undertake back then. I figured by now someone would have came up with something. ( This is partly why I never focused on my old 71 to be my primary project and DD. This is disappointing. Well, I guess I'll see what deals come my way and see what I end up with.
