Help identify these on my 289 66 engine please

Is this car originally a California car? I thought only the Cali cars had the smog stuff. I would accidentally misplace all that junk.

Any car originally sold in CA from 66 on required pollution control equipment.

You gotta get rid of that smog equipment, it rips you off almost two whole horsepower. Not that it gets enforced a lot (yet) removing smog equipment is a crime.

Regarding your bore, sometimes, there is a number stamped on top of the pistons. Try cleaning a piston top to find it.

They are probably standard bore then. Most manufacturers only stamp an oversize on their pistons.

Could be me, I didn't thoroughly clean the top of a piston yet.
