Default 1978 F-150 rear end?
Does anyone happen to know if a 1978 Ford F-150 9' rear end would fit on a 67-70 mustang?

NO, it is much too wide. I believe kevinstang.com has a good list of swaps.

And the lug pattern is different its bigger.Look at http://midnightdsigns.com/james/faq1.txt there is every question about what 9 inch to use in there.
