Default 1966 mustang carb swap

Hi all
im new to the forum
im chris from fort worth texas
i got a 1966 mustang 289 and its got a 2 barrel holley on it
i just bought a 4 barrel intake and carb off of ebay
the carb suppossibly came off 1973 merc 460 anyone know what cfm this would be? from what he told me he said he thought it was like 500 i thought the 2 barrel was a 500
if so i did completley nothing for performance
right?
any help sure would be appreciated thanks so much

ah crap with that spam ...

do you have any carb identification, numbers anything? it's impossible to tell otherwise as noone knows what someone else has smacked on that 460
probably not a 500 though, but you never know. However on a stock 289 you don't want more tyhan 600cfm anyway, rather lower
